Logging into XenDesktop 7.x via NetScaler throws the error: “Cannot complete your request.”

Problem

You attempt to log into a XenDesktop 7.x environment through a NetScaler performing ICA Proxy but notice the following:

Solution

While there are various reasons why you would receive this error, one of the reasons is you are using a Load Balancing Virtual Server for your StoreFront servers as such:

… and forgot to change the Persistence setting from None to SOURCEIP under the Method and Persistence tab as shown in the following screenshot:

Proceeding to change the setting to SOURCEIP will correct the problem.

Hi,
2 things:

1) I am getting this error message, but not using any Load Balancing Virtual Server.

I was following this guide: "http://www.robinhobo.com/configure-citrix-netscaler-10-5-including-gateway-citrix-storefront-2-5-2/"

2) secure communication between DDC and storefront. in storefront if i chose HTTP(80) for transport, i can login and see my apps&desktop. If i chose HTTPS(443), and i can login, but don't see any apps or desktop.
All this on the internal network, accessing via storefront web-access.
